Case 1 - Fibrous Dysplasia, Right Femur Shaft

The direct pouring method has proposed by Dr. Marcove in the 1960s.Pour the -196 C liquid nitrogen into the bone to treat benign bone tumors. However, the usual size of bone defects is small (<3cm in width), and liquid nitrogen boils at room temperature.Without a proper distribution tool, it may lead to soft-tissue damage (e.g., skin, nerve)  of operating staff and patients.Though it's effective in killing tumors, it's too risky for othorpaedic surgeons to choose this method.
